A Pinch of Optimism for the Future of Clean Energy

A Pinch of Optimism for the Future of Clean Energy

“Clean energy or renewable energy is derived from renewable, zero-emissions sources (“renewables”), as well as energy saved through energy efficiency (“EE”) measures. The most common renewable energy resources are biomass, geothermal, hydropower, solar, and wind” – Definition by North Carolina Sustainable Energy Association (NCSEA).

Why is it important to know the source of our energy?

Clean energy simply means energy consumed by humans is obtained directly through natural resources like wind, solar, sunlight and water. Clean energy means less exposure to harmful emissions, and efficiently using the natural resources. This initiative also helps improve the quality of life of the workers working in these fossil fuel industries as they are prone to health and life risks and often face unfair wages and exploitation of human rights.

The U.N aims to empower the community and the sustainable future by introducing the 7th Goal for affordable and clean energy.

Crowdera Foundation’s core belief in sustainable development and enrichment has brought visibility for Repos Energy Organization, who are targeting 65% of daily diesel consumption by tackling dead mileage, pilferage and adulteration. They provide door-to-door fuel services. Who could have thought that just by providing door-to-door diesel service we can actually procure diesel related damages and pollution. Their unique idea fascinated everyone and they raised a sufficient amount through their campaign for covid relief activities undertaken by the startup. By far they have touched 65 cities in India by fueling door-to-door.

And that’s how a common ground for sustainable energy infrastructure, reduction of harmful emissions, sustainable ways of living, co-existing and growing that benefits all sources of life through The Giving Economy Changemakers. We aspire to inspire people for building a greener, cleaner and sustainable future, because there’s no planet B.

Help us take this global vision to the remotest parts of the world and yet work from ground up with locals, maintaining the essence of inclusivity and diversity.
